The Expedition Team - Reactions (Antarctica)

Sharki E. Thrash
Having had an ancient family fued with the Megaptera Novaeangliae (Whale Family) over who rules the sea, Sharki had a sudden change of heart. He was amongst those who spout tears after the breaching of the Happy Humpback Whale. After this emotional moment, he decided to let go of old sentiments. He wanted to include this photo to make his Mom proud.


Tintin
After successfully navigating through brash ice and enduring freezing temperatures in just a suit and tie, Tintin found the distant relative of the Tibetan Snowman who lives in Antarctica. With great enthusiasm over the reunion, he insisted on a group photo.


Ninja Turtle
Ninja Turtle, being an underground dweller and frequenter of New York's sewer systems, has a hidden fear of heights. Upon successfully climbing to the summit of Brown Bluff, he couldn't contain his excitement. It was remarked that he later cried, but he won't attest to that statement.


Monkey
She found those "empty spaces" that Doris Lessing had quoted. While pondering, she was interrupted by a Penguin.


The Penguins
They requested to be a part of this entry. They've been working on a coreographed routine that they'd like to share.





...meanwhile
After sliding down a glacier with my roomie, we jumped in the water (registered at 1°C ) and joined the Polar Plunge club. Afterwards, I could not feel my feet.



The Expedition Team regarded the activity as awkward. They watched from a volcanically-heated pool near the shore.
